Yes, i know. Please don't cry.
If you are a utopia code writer, thinking you can develop a terrific database system using lazarus + FPC + zeoslib on a 64 bits system, you are a dreamer!
I discover yesterday , 3 AM, in the hardest way, after ending migrating a Remobjects/DatAbstract server. It compile excellent, but ZEOS have a lot of bugs in 64 bits world.
So, my friend, keep dreaming theres a better world, or take the zeos code and bring it to the 64 bits universe (i'm checking right now how to help, and make it happens!)
After so many years with 64 bits on the market, you always will get a rock in the middle of your way, sadly.
Namaste.

god bless you with lazarus :-)
Actually, that is the beauty of open source.:)
Already solved, zeos lib version 7 with patches work on 64 bits.
I have to adequate DataAbstract libraries (already do it), and my cproject is working rigth now!
have you considered using AnyDAC, instead? you have it anyways, and i know Dmitry out a lot of effort in adding x64 support, recently.
As a member of TeamRO, i have in touch with remobjects technologies. Last time i test it, anydac don't work in 64 bits OS, don't ever compile. I will contact he anyway, to check the actual status, maybe he have a beta working on 64 bits.
Hi!
Last night, I sent to Mark Daems the fifth patch that solves 64 bits problems in ZeosLib... It compiles in all versions of Delphi and in Lazarus/FPC. Everything tested with MySQL and Postgres.
The revision is 717. Enjoy a lot!
